Culzean Castle is about 50 miles south of Glasgow and Glasgow International Airport, 25 from Prestwick Airport, and 100 miles from Edinburgh. There is a railway station at Ayr.

The Castle stands in 560 acres of Ayrshire's finest woodland and coastal walks.
Golf:
Some of the best golf in Scotland is close at hand at Turnberry, Troon, Prestwick and Western Gailes.
History:
Culzean is in the heart of Burns country, a central base for visiting the poet's haunts. Also, other National Trust for Scotland castles, houses, gardens, etc.
Activities:
Activities such as riding, clay pigeon shooting, fishing and sailing can be arranged.
